The many lives of us.

We often tend to think about ourselves as one person, about our life as one life, but in reality there can be many lives in this one life.

For example it is now 10.3o am and I am a writer, I write to express things that have become part of my life and made it more efficient, settled, rich, wealthy, healthy and inspiring. And for 1 hour I am a writer in front of the keyboard and I am just that and I enjoy it thoroughly.

At 11.30 am I will be hungry women! and will switch to the life in me that loves food, cooking, arranging a plate like it is a celebration. The wife and nurturing life in me will anticipate the return of the family by getting something out of the pantry or starting some stewing, or at the very least prompting me with questions like "ok, what's for dinner?".

I will eat and at 12.30 pm, I will put my Personal Development Coach hat on and be totally with my clients, I will be in the coach life of me that has no agenda but the ones of my clients and their growth, revelations, moving on, aha moments (loads of those!!)...

At 6 pm I have an appointment with a very dear friend for a walk in the woods, then I will be a friend and a confident. (and a walker!)

When I come back I'll slip into the family life again and will be present for all the quality time and the needs of the family.

So that's one day in Catherine's life or lives, where she is a writer, a woman, a wife, a coach, a friend... and many more in between.

I have found that identifying the different lives in my life allows me to keep intact, balanced and present, it allows me to be here and now, and the highlight here is just as much on the "be" as it is on the "here and now".

If you find you need some help to define and live those different lives, just click here to send me an email.
